I am not a huge burger fan, but I am a HUGE Michael Symon fan, so when I go back to PA to visit my sister, we always try to make it to one of his restaurants. He owns a couple of burger places called B Spot. This is where I had the best burger ever!
This is the Thin Lizzy burger. Not only is it named after one of my favorite bands, it also includes some of my favorite ingredients. The burger is topped with cheddar, grilled onions, mayo and pickles. YUM.
If you ever get a chance to visit one of Michael Symon's restaurants, I highly recommend it.
What is the best burger you ever ate?
I have never even heard of B Spot! This looks delicious! Too bad there are none around where I live..
ReplyDeleteMy favorite burger... Hmm..I had one the other day that I'm thinking of recreating.. It had you know those crispy hashbrowns? That, and cheese sauce, and the patty and bacon and an egg. So when you cut into it, the egg bleeds out, it's glorious. Called the bacon slamburger. LOVE IT
My friend just went to one of his restaurants here in MI, I didn't even know he had one here. Your burger looks sooo good! Really though, I think the best burgers are ones we create at home with stuff we love. I love it when the hubs grills...yum!
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious. Really what could ever be better than a good burger! Actually, my brother makes a great burger. Blessings dear. Catherine xo
ReplyDeleteHave you posted about this previously? I remember reading about it and made the Thin Lizzy at home. It was delicious!
ReplyDeleteI probably posted about it right after I got back from PA, I need to make this at home soon after looking at the pics again.
DeleteWow - that looks AMAZING! I love grilled onions!
ReplyDeleteSounds like this is a great place to dine. Will keep this place in my mind if I'm visiting PA.
ReplyDeleteYour burger looks and sounds amazing. I had my favorite burger in Argentina but have never been able to recreate it. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteWow, I love a good burger too. The cheddar and grilled onions take it over the top.
ReplyDeleteWow, without the onions I'd be all over that! The best burger I've had is at Wildfire - not sure if that's a chain or not - there are a few in the Chicagoland area. Perfectly seasoned, buttered bun, extra sharp cheese.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I want a burger!
Never heard of this restaurant but will keep it in the back of my brain for future reference :)
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this restaurant, but I need this burger in my life!
ReplyDeleteWow, that burger looks so good. The bun, the cheddar, the pickles, yum! My best burger ever are the ones my dad would grill growing up. It had been years since, then while visiting last December he made them. So many memories. Ahh.
ReplyDeleteThis burger looks like it is super filled with delicious ingredients - I can see why it is the best thing ever eaten :D

Thank you so much for adding the email subscribe option! YAY!! :) OK, this burger does look MAJOR. But for some reason, I thought a thin Lizzie burger would be really flat and well, low in calories! LOL! Guess I'm taking the "thin" part of the name too far. :) Best burger for me was an at-home creation of bison meat (but it's good with regular beef too) with sage and rosemary mixed in and then a chive mayo on the bun. So good!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds crazy awesome! I made a plantain and black bean burger last year that i LOVED. Def my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love caramelized onions in the bugers, and yours look so good. There are a couple of gourmet burger joints (quite popular these days) and I've been trying different kinds. If I ever go to PA, I'll definitely stop by this place!
ReplyDeleteWell, Michael Symon's is not yet found in Europe but that looks like a pretty tasty burger. I think the best one I have tried was in one of the hamburger bars in Amsterdam, with blue cheese and caramelized onions!
