So my awesome husband, with the help of my Amazon wish list, got me a Canon PowerShot SX40 HS with 35x zoom. This thing is so much fun to use! I am going to a Dbacks baseball game this weekend and I can't wait to see how close this zoom can get. For now I am having a blast taking photos of my dogs and just every day stuff.

ReplyDeleteI use an SLR and I was intimidated at first too. I took a class by a top notch photographer in Australia. It wasn't cheap but it was money very well spent.

ReplyDeleteI have an SLR. If you read the manual and play with the settings it becomes 2nd nature. The point and shoots are great though now! Love the doggy pic, so cute! Enjoy your camera and click away :)

I'm a point and shoot girl too, don't know if I'll ever graduate into the world of SLR. But yours takes great pics so who needs the complication? love it!
