My husband and I got married a few years ago in the courthouse with a small reception at our house after for just immediate family. It was exactly everything I wanted, including the food. For our 'cake' we had a cupcake tower filled with Sprinkle's Cupcakes.
Instead of feeding each other, we fed our dogs the dog cupcakes from Sprinkles.
That is our dog Joey who we lost this time last year, he was the most amazing little character. Oh and yes, my husband did wear a Don Mattingly jersey at our wedding. I wore a plain shirt and jeans. We are about the most laid back people you will ever meet, obviously :)
If you ever have the chance to try Sprinkles cupcakes, I recommend them!
What is the best cupcake you have ever had?
I remember thinking the KHupkhake tree was the coolest thing!
ReplyDeleteNOW I am so hungry for a cupcake - good thing I've done my ROTE for the week!
BTW, here's to Joey!
Cupcakes are always comforting and it is good to know how much you enjoyed these.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that you lost your sweet little dog.
Blessings dear. Catherine
Sprinkles make dog cupcakes? I did not known that! I love the laid back wedding you had! I'm sorry that you lost this cute little dog last year. :-(
ReplyDeleteDoggy cupcakes how cool! I don't have a sweet tooth, so no fav cupcakes for me. Our wedding was laid back too, married the same place as you. Then we headed to the campground for a tubing trip and then a huge cookout. We've had the tubing trip and cookout annually since 2000 :) This is our 13th celebration this summer!
ReplyDeleteI adore sprinkles cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteSorry you lost your little friend, it looks like he was very special!
ReplyDeleteMy MIL planned our whole beach wedding - my dress was $19 and I think including airfare to Florida, a honeymoon in Key West we only spent $2k for our wedding - it was perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove that you were wearing jeans! :D
I think the tower of cupcakes is way better than a wedding cake... YUM!
ReplyDeleteForget big cakes, cupcakes are deifnitely the wway to go :D
ReplyDeleteCheers

Your wedding sounds perfect to me. And I love that you had special ones for your sweet doggie. Sorry about your loss.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely recollection of your wedding. The (human) cupcakes sound delicious but I love the idea of cupcakes for your dog. He must have been a treasure. I am sorry he is gone. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
