These knives are SHARP and extremely durable. You can get this awesome knife on Amazon for around $9. I first discovered these knives in an Amish community in Western PA and bought a paring knife and a chef's dicer. I bought those knives about 14 years ago and they are still incredibly sharp and have maintained a perfect edge.
What is your favorite bargain item that is just as good or better than the big name brand?
great recommendation - will check out Rada! i love me some shun and wusthof but great to have a more affordable alternative. loving your blog by the way!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great knife. Sadly I don't have any non-brand wins lately. I keep hoping. :) I don't have a shun knife but I do have a large set of Wusthof.
ReplyDelete$9? Really? That's a nice buy if this knife works well! Like Maureen, I also have Wusthof too, which we received as wedding gift off our wedding registry. I love sharpening knife... as if it's my hobby! Hehee.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't live without a good knife! Critical and so worth it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great looking knife and a great price! Have to check this out. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteA good knife is something to behold - the knives at my kitchen office sucked as and brought a $9 paring knife that I bought at Whole Foods - it works great!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check that knife out though! Hope you have a great Saturday night!
This is a great looking knife. I haven't bought a knife in so long, and mine are kind of blunt. This is a great recommendation.
ReplyDeleteMy Shun knife is probably my favorite possession! Great that there are alternatives for those that can't afford them! Mercer is also another great cheaper brand!
ReplyDeleteWow, I will have to check that out!
