I knew what I was posting this week as soon as I saw the topic, seafood. This tuna recipe will make you look like a rockstar and it could not be easier.
The recipe is for Sesame Seared Albacore Tuna and it looks fancy, and tastes delicious.
What is your favorite recipe that looks gourmet but is super simple?
Looks delicious! Perfectly done. One of my favorite recipes is a crab cake recipe. I made it the other day. Simple. But so good.
ReplyDeleteHow'd you get such a perfect sesame crust? Looks straight out of a restaurant! My Persian chicken kabob recipe is super simple but I think people are scared of using those spices so they're always really impressed!
ReplyDeleteThat looks perfect! Mine would be shrimp and scallop scampi with linguine...just like a restaurant :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the ingredients you've got here and that lovely sesame crust looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis does look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI have a simple chicken curry dish, that is easy to make and always a hit.

I love simple dishes that look gourmet & elegant.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to laugh at this Rhonda, but when I met my husband nearly 13 years ago, I was a really really picky eater. My daughter and I ate the same things over and over - tacos, spaghetti, etc.
ReplyDeleteSo when Tony first made me seared ahi tuna, I couldn't quite get over how raw the middle looked - he just seared it just a tad on each side. I made him cook it until it was grey all the way through, but then of course it tasted like ass.
Now I love it! I am going to check out your recipe :D
Wow, pretty sure nothing I've made that's simple is as gourmet or fancy as this. Parmesan Garlic Chicken would be the closest thing, and all it is is a dry Italian dressing mix pouch mixed with some garlic powder and finely shredded parmesan cheese, crusted on chicken and baked. So good, so pretty, so easy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious way to indulge in the goodness of seafood :D
ReplyDeleteCheers

Girl that is one perfectly cooked piece of fish! And I love the sesame crust.
ReplyDeleteYour fish is beautifully cooked-love the sesame crust!
ReplyDeleteOh, this sounds really good and the pic is great. Love all the flavors in the sauce and it's a must try!
ReplyDeletewe love seafood and how nice to see sesame crusted. The texture when you bit into sesame crust is just so much fun and adds characteristics to the dish. Very lovely dish indeed!
ReplyDeleteThis looks perfect!! I haven't made seafood in such a long time!
ReplyDeleteWow - I need to make this immediately.
