Hungry Girl's Big Bad Burger Wrap

It is the start of a new year and everyone wants to eat better. I recently watched the Hungry Girl show on the Food Network and really liked all the tips and tricks she had for being smart about the food you eat. I picked up her cookbook of 200 things under 200 calories (not the exact name but close enough) and made these wraps and now my husband makes them at least once a week.

Big Bad Burger Wrap

Most of these ingredients you probably already have. You need ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, pickles, fake burger, whole wheat wrap and some Laughing Cow Cheese.

Get your tortilla in the microwave or toaster oven and mix up your sauce.

burgers cooking
Cook the fake burger on the stove or in the microwave.

Smear the cheese on the warm tortilla.

chopped meat
Chop up the burger.

Big Bad Burger Wrap
Put everything on the tortilla and roll it up. It is ready to eat!

Big Bad Burger Wrap
Not the most attractive thing I ever made but it was tasty, quick, and not that bad for me! The fact that my husband now makes it for himself is also testament to how good and simple it is.

  1. Wow - your hubs actually ate something with you - woot!

Love the idea of the laughing cow cheese as a spread - totally stealing that idea.

    Happy New Year!

  2. oh my goodness, this looks amazing!

  3. Ok, THIS I will be trying. I have her cookbook too but haven't made anything from it. This looks good though and I love meatless burgers. Weight Watchers makes the cheese triangles also and they have one that is jalapeno flavor that I love to smear on a mini wheat bagel with a vegetarian sausage patty. Yummy!
